

The present research concludes that author is presenting theme of hope in all above poems and she is a courageous black woman. As a coloured woman Maya Angelou raises her voice and says that soon, black people will be free. In last poem ‘Caged Bird’, Maya Angelou shows underdevelopment of black woman due to tradition. She says that a black woman can be phenomenal woman through her confidence and good personality and proud herself being black woman. In the second poem, ‘Phenomenal Woman’, Maya Angelou describes a standard of beauty that beauty is not having beautiful face and slim smart body and thin lip. In the first poem ‘Still I Rise’, Maya Angelou presents black female as a leader of the movement and challenges the society arrangement about black people. The analysis has explained that black woman’s different images are depicted in Maya Angelou's poems.

This research gives rise to enhance the argument in literature studies particularly Black Feminism self-esteem. This study has been conducted by the use of black feminism. The researcher has chosen only three poems of ‘Still I Rise’, ‘Phenomenal Woman’ and ‘Caged Bird’. After collecting data, the researcher has analyzed poems and supported by particular idea of feminist Sara Mills. This research has been conducted by qualitative and analytical method because this research has not numerical data. In this research paper, the researcher has tried to find out the image of black female depicted in Maya Angelou's poems. The debate of crime and the strategies to decrease its occurrence and even existence pushes us to debate Nature VS Nurture. This radical view stipulates that the agents of law enforcement and the authorities are enablers. Lastly, both crime and the criminal are put aside to only focus of law enforcement. The liberal view seeks to study the individual’s trajectory in life before being caught by law enforcement. The focus is on the crime and established punishments unlike the Liberal view.

He shares with us the Conservatives view in which practically there is no mercy for offenders. Randall Collins discusses three explanations for crime in his article The Normalcy of Crime. We wonder if crimes can ever be eliminated. Yet, in the twenty-first century there are still crimes in every society in the world. “The criminal justice system has made great strides toward modernization since the day of the night watchman and constable”. From Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, Ancient Greece to India, China and the many kingdoms of Africa, keeping all citizens aligned and in peace was always, and still is a challenge. Since the beginning of Human evolution there have been conflicts and a search for universal peace, maintenance of law and order.
